One of our most notable achievements came in 2022, when the Aberdeenshire Smart Solar and Storage project received the prestigious Alan Clark Award for Local Community Energy at Solar & Storage Live. The innovative scheme delivered 1.6MWp of solar PV across 500 council properties, each equipped with battery storage and smart energy management technology. The project demonstrated how local authorities can generate renewable energy, support grid stability and tackle fuel poverty through innovative energy solutions.
