Energy Efficiency Financing Scheme (EEF)
The Energy Efficiency Financing Scheme is offered on behalf of Siemens Financial Services and the Carbon Trust Implementation Services. They offer several financing options including leases, loans and hire purchase, designed to be offset by energy cost savings and other government incentives such as FiT and RHI.
A deposit is only required in a small minority of cases and financing is available for projects as little as £1,000 with no limit, assuming the project passes the Carbon Trust energy saving assessments and customer credit assessments.
The SME Loan Scheme (Scotland)
The Scottish Government have joined forces with the Energy Saving Trust (EST) to overcome the financial barriers facing the implementation of renewable energy technology. Together they offer the ‘Resource Efficient Scotland SME Loan’, whereby the EST provide an unsecured, interest free loan.
This can help towards the costs of surveying and installing resource efficiency equipment and can range anywhere between £1,000 to £100,000.
ReEnergise Finance is offered by an independent financial services business. They focus on commercial organisations to assist with the costs involved with energy efficient technology.
Funding is available between £25,000 and £250,000 and includes technologies such as Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Air Source Heat Pumps.
ReEnergise offer loans and leases to suit business needs.
